AI has proven its potential to detect fraudulent motor insurance claims. In Singapore, the General Insurance Association (GIA) has been using a fraud management system (FMS) to help flag suspicious claims. Since its introduction in 2017, it has flagged over 300 claims and 13 of them were confirmed to be fraudulent and referred to the police.
